Nuance eCopy ShareScan 6 dramatically improves productivity

Today Nuance announced a new version of eCopy ShareScan 6.0 software to its popular multifunction printer (MFP) capture solution. Nuance is a one of a leading providersNow you can easier than ever before deploy, administer and secure document capture workflows. Now, remote workers will have the ability to capture and securely insert documents and images into the business process with mobiles devices.

eCopy ShareScan 6.0 standardizes and accelerates paper and electronic document capture workflows while catalyzing compliance through records management protocols and policies. The software is best suited for users whose scan workflows are not the core of their job function. The solution is easy to learn and all tasks are done while a person is at an MPF device. The software has fail-safe functionality with real-time confirmation and document preview. This will make capture documents to workflows hassle-free. Integration with Nuance Business Connet extends the use of mobiles devices by enabling access to Ecopy ShareScan workflows.

ShareScan 6.0 increased documents security with Windows Active Directory login. Logged users ensure, that only authorized users have access to the solution.  Logged users can access network folders, email address book, secure company directory. Content-based features are capable detect and flag administrator with email alerts if protected content is detected.

Pricing and availability are yet unknown. Nuance told, that Nuance eCopy ShareScan will be available to partners in June. For specific pricing and availability,  your organization will have to contact your local MFP presenter.
